Introduction: Yesterday, at my dentist appointment (shoutout to Lotus Family Dental in Aurora/Centennial!), a conversation about confidence got me thinking. Confidence isn't just crucial at work; it's a game-changer in everyday life.
Key Points:

1. Confidence Breeds Success: Confident people often earn more and lead happier lives. It's not that they're happy because they're confident and successful; it's the other way around!
2. The Role of Self-Love: I believe confidence stems from self-esteem, which comes from self-love. When you love yourself enough to embrace failure as part of growth, you're more likely to step out of your comfort zone and encounter incredible people and opportunities.
3. Embracing Overcoming: The best stories aren't about being born into wealth or a perfect life; they're about overcoming adversity.
4. Impact on Relationships: Lack of self-esteem can affect your marriage, friendships, parenting, and career. It's hard to have a great relationship if you don't feel equal, or if you can't speak your mind with friends, or if you're not confident in your parenting choices or career.
5. Building Confidence: Remember, out of 100 million sperm, you were chosen to be here! Knowing this can boost your confidence and help you stand tall in your truth.

Practical Steps:

• Practice self-care daily, even if it's just a small thing that brings you joy.
• Don't settle; speak up for what you believe in, even if it means being judged.
